Blissful Living Group Home is a designated safe space for LGBTQ youth to explore and better understand their sexual and gender identities. The organization’s mission is to provide a welcoming environment where LGBTQ youth can develop self-reliance through personal encounters, peer interactions, and educational experiences. Blissful Living Group Home is committed to cultivating a community where LGBTQ youth can thrive and feel fully accepted. We are dedicated to creating a safe space where all youth can grow emotionally, develop leadership skills, and become more aware of their community, regardless of sexual orientation.
We are a six-bed group home that focuses on providing specialized care for LGBTQ youth who have suffered from abuse or neglect, and who have been removed from their homes. Our clients have endured severe trauma, and our primary goal is to help them recover from their trauma, while also assisting them in finding permanent homes. Many young people who identify as LGBTQ have experienced isolation and rejection from their families. At Blissful Living Group Home, we provide a safe place for these youth to live. Our program is designed to meet their individual therapeutic and developmental needs, establish reasonable order and structure, offer a predictable and secure living situation, and enhance opportunities for the development of social skills. Our services will provide each child with problem-solving skills and coping resources, which will assist in a successful return to the community.
This #GivingTuesday, we are raising funds to support our youth. Your donation will enable us to provide them with gifts for the holidays, take them out for holiday outings, decorate their bedrooms, and much more. By contributing, you can help these kids experience the joy of the holiday season.
Your donations allow us to keep helping children in need! Take a look at what we’re currently raising money for and please consider making a donation to help us along with our goals! Every dollar donated goes towards helping children in need. Thank you!
